Get to know, walk and camp in the San Pedro Martir National Park
The Sierra de San Pedro Mártir National Park is located in the northern portion of the Baja California Peninsula and the central part of the state.
It is located in the mountainous region called Sierra de San Pedro Mártir, it’s the highest orographic complex of the Peninsula and the park is entirely inside the Ensenada municipality, in the Punta Colonet delegation.
It also houses a remarkable biological richness due to the pine, fir, cypress and mixed coniferous forests. It is known to have a total of 142 plant species and about 70% of the park’s surface has extensive original tree coverage and it’s in very good condition, so because of this, it’s one of the most prestigious natural protected areas of Mexico.
