Visit the cave paintings in Vallecitos

Cave paintings are important pieces of history and culture in Baja California, that's why Vallecitos is a place of great diversity of cave art created by the ancient Kumiai as well as mortar, geometrical cave paintings, zoomorphic and anthropomorphic figures.

You can find El Diablito (Observador del sol) in one of the sites, which is the figure of a man with a stroke in the head shaped like a horn that points every 21st & 22nd of December the Winter Solstice, that day the sun enters the cave, illuminating the painting’s eyes.

Marvel at the natural majesty of one of the old expressions that keep making history.
