Scuba Diving in Baja California

Wedged between two seas, each with greatly different ecosystems and with a multitude of additional activities, Baja California offers diving experiences for all levels of certification, including snorkeling with Whale Sharks, cage diving with Great White Sharks, wreck diving in Rosarito Underwater Park, diving in kelp forests, etc.

With the sinking in November 2015 of the Ocean Going Patrol Uribe 121 starts the construction of Rosarito Submarine Park and with it wreck diving starts in Baja California.

Baja California houses the world´s largest Blue Fin Tuna Farms, exporting most of their production, carefully prepared and cared to Japan under the world´s most stringent food handling standards; from their production operations, and due to the great interest of divers from all over the world, in diving with large tuna fishes, arises the idea of building “Acuario Oceánico”,scheduled to start operations in the last quarter of this year,, where tourists will be able to swim and dive within a Tuna Farm.
